As part of overseas marketing research, Number X supported the travels of Yota Nakamura, a travel essayist and writer who is our content partner. Mr. Nakamura is also a travel influencer with about 10,000 Twitter followers, and he is actively sharing overseas travel information, including appearing on the radio program “ANA WORLD AIR CURRENT” navigated by violinist Taro Hakase.
Yota Nakamura, travel essayist and writer
Born in Yokosuka in 1987. After graduating from the School of Creative Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he worked as an overseas tour conductor and as an editor at a travel information magazine, then became a freelance writer in 2017. So far he has traveled to 38 countries, including a tour around Europe, a crossing of the United States, and a circuit of Taiwan. Along the way, he traveled 10,000 km around the world by bicycle, and also walked from Tokyo to Kyoto while pouring 53 glasses of craft beer in “Craft Beer Tokaido Fifty-Three Pours.” He is now active on social media and note to make “travel and sharing” his life’s work. He also works as a writing instructor and a model.
